approach.<\/p>\n<p>Fascia can be defined as a network of connective tissue that surrounds all the structures of our body in a three-dimensional way, connecting them to each other, providing support and determining their shape. Its route is continuous, so any structural change in a certain part of the body can produce restrictions in another area far from it. This structural change in the fascia is called &#8220;Myofascial Dysfunction&#8221; and can be caused by different types of trauma, not only blows or falls, but also surgery, painful menstruation or, for example, an inadequate posture maintained over time.<\/p>\n<p>Myofascial Induction is a method of assessment and treatment that aims to eliminate fascial restrictions by applying a combination of sustained pressure, specific positioning and very gentle stretching.<\/p>\n<p>In cases where the pain is related to a poor postural attitude, we combine this treatment with postural correction work.<\/p>\n<p>Physiotherapy at the center is in charge of Antonia Frontera. With all this information, a hypothesis is developed about the origin of the pain that is explained to the patient and a treatment is proposed.<\/p>\n<p>Normally between 3 and 5 sessions there is usually a change. Between sessions, 15 days to a month or more are left, depending on the case and the intensity of the pain.<\/p>\n<p>If there is not enough change, we usually recommend other alternatives or treatments that complement what is being done or refer the patient to another professional.<\/p>\n<p>In our center only manual techniques are used.
